i'm pretty happy with the way this turned out as it's my first time stenciling a real person!

I personally hated working on the cheap plain canvas tote you get at joann's, but maybe that's just me. the freezer paper didn't like ironing to it and the paint seemed to seep into the lines of the material. oh well.

It looks GREAT!!  Nice job.
I know what you mean about the canvas...and painting on it.
Did you wash them before painting on them?  That might have helped.
Iron ons work well with these bags, but the stencil looks so cool!

yes, i washed it and even ironed it because it was uber wrinkled! oh well. I think a thinner canvas would work much better next time!

that bag is fantastic... i did stencil on canvas w/ acrylic paint once, the freezer paper worked pretty well though...
