I love looking at all of the creative ways to recon clothes. When something ugly is turned into something cute and wearable, it is just wonderful!
So, on this thread, I am going to feature some of the things I spotted that I think are worth an extra look!
Keeping checking for updates--your item might show up here!

Whether you keep these for yourself or give them as gifts, handmade mittens and hats are welcomed by everyone living in cold country! I am impressed by the details and fine finishing as well...I mean, lined? That is the ultimate in warmth and comfort! Check out this awesome project!

I have always loved the Gibbous look, even before I knew what it was called! There is something about taking a bunch of fabrics, mixing colors, textures and patterns to make clothing...this is a lovely example of function and beauty--and I am impressed with the amount of work and craftsmanship that went into this....look at all the details! (it will take a while, I warn you

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=158201.new#newThis recon is good for a lot of reasons: lots of items were used, action shots were terrific, Maxine (the dressform is just too cool!), and of course, the finished project. I really enjoyed this post! (02/18/2007)
