Ugly XXL men's shirt to flirty skirt!

Got this shirt for 50 cents on the clearance rack at Goodwill:

Ew, ahh-glee!  But the fabric is a nice plushy velvet type of stuff, and I love me some stripes!

It was so long that it was easy to make this a skirt.  I just cut it below the arms and then folded the top down and  added elastic.  Cheesy, I know, but ya gotta start somewhere!  I wear a lot of skirts, so it's good for me that they are so easy to make, hehe.

Thanks!  Actually, it does have pretty good fall colours:  gold, eggplant, black.
