Here's the version I sent Haylie:


 
I used a magnetic snap closure, and made ribbon loops to thread the handle through in case the strap was longer/shorter than she likes (so she could adjust it without taking the top seam apart). I used snaps for the purse feet.

I took this idea and covered wooden mirrors for a holiday boutique I am doing. I'll post pics once I get them all done... which better be soon because the boutique is Saturday. AHHHHHHHHHH!
