My husband thinks it looks like one of the two.  I was all confident about the shape of this bag until he woke up from his nap all goofy and started running around the house with it.  Now I'm not so sure.  You guys know more about bags than he does.  What do you think?

The bag itself:

My goofball husband posing with it (he claims that these are "his colors":

The outer material is the most bizarre thing I've ever felt.  It's almost like a short pile carpet or the upholstery from an old Dodge Dart or something weird and creepy like that.  I liked it though because it's a nice shade of green with little flecks of periwinkle in it.  And, well, I got three yards of it for $5.  Can't go wrong.

The bag opening is a bit small, but I tried it out and you can fit quite a bit in there!  These aren't the original handles.  I had long sticks of bamboo where the curvy handles are now but they were a bit too long.

Comments?  Feel free to criticize!

And hoping for an early death you swam so far you lost your breath, and struggling in the ebb and flow I took your hand, but you let go...
And now the ocean fills your lungs, and now you've got what you had come for, resting peaceful as you sink to drown under a sea of strangers.

Thanks!  yeah, he's a real boob, but he's completely funny and I adore him.  Normally he gives really good feedback about my bags but this time he was just a bit too goofy to take seriously.

Thanks for the compliments!

It's a cute little shape. I like it ! He may be right about it being 'his colors' though. Smiley

I don't think it looks wierd, but maybe it struck him funny. Leave room in life to laugh.

I like it, I think it's different in a good way, and it didn't make me think of a superhero or xmas ornament, but maybe a heraldic crest. Smiley
It'd be neat with like a rampant lion stenciled on or something.
Your husband is funny and very cute with the bag, lol.

It's super cute but I suggest putting some kinda embellishment on the front say some button flowers or felt applique and he'll stop trying to steal it Wink
