I got bored, here are a bunch of UK swaps I've thought of which I wanna see happen:

  • british kids' tv (will not be for a while, as I want to organise it and have got a textiles gcse coming up.)
  • thrift store picture revamp - we really should do a UK one of these. I think it'd be really fun.
  • instant swap - Heather's organising this, I can't participate in it as I never get free weekends to devote to crafting!
  • first class stamp swap - yeah I stole it off the craftermath.co.uk forum. I signed up, then the browser crashed so it didn't go through. Anyway, I think we need one on Craftster. (I'd like to organise this one, when I finish up everything overdue......)
  • DIY craft kit swap. Seems fun.
  • I can't think of any more. Are any of you interested in the ones above?

Nush - I like all thouse ideas Cheesy  I've got DIY craft kit on my list too! Yay for more UK swaps Cheesy  Ive been compiling a list of ones I'd like to see/do/join in:

UK Seasons Swap - something relevant to the season, maybe a swap for each sesion of the year?  Would mean getting my finger out to organise this so we could have a spring one.
UK Children's TV swap - Nush will do tyhis one - sounds like a good idea
UK lined zippered pouch swap - small, & cheap postage
UK craft kit swap - On Nush's list too
UK Local Mythology/Legends swap, making items about an area of either your/your partner's local mythology, i.e. Robin Hood, silent pool, which is where I grew up in Surrey.  I like this one, but I don't know if anyone else is interested!

Whaddaya think?

ooh, I really like the sound of the UK Local Mythology/Legends swap!

I grew up near Alderley Edge and there are loads of stories about the area, not least the one about Merlin!!

I really like the mythology one- where I grew up there are loads of stories+ i once had to research scottish legends for a work thing.

ha ha, I know a cat called Merlin, whenever anyone says Merlin, i think of him, rather than the wizard.

I have recieved from either Sarah Jayne or Jo!!  Whoever sent me a pink present with black lace, thank you very much - I've not opened it or the card yet - they are in my bag of presents ready to go to my sister's house.

Rar - thanks Jo Cheesy  I made my boyfriend open the envelope so I could only see wrapped up stuff Cheesy  He showed me the present and the card.  I've left it all in the envelope ready to go round on Christmas day.

And yay for the idea of a mythology swap - I'll go looking for websites that could be used for research Cheesy

I may or may not be online on Christmas day, and probably will be tomorow, but for people who are heading off now, have a lovely, relaxing Christmas, and chat soon Cheesy

Have a great Xmas, everybody!!!!! I'll probs be online a little in the day tomorrow. In the evening I have to go to An Aunt's (not even the fun kind...) which should be amusing: the usual yearly small talk and sitting around waiting for M&S turkey to heat up.......(I don't geddit, they have dosh, they throw huge parties, but they have M&S turkey and pre=heated veggies, which isn't even nice.) Meh.

But I am excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mum & I went into London today and braved the crowds........Topshop is open till 10.pm, I couldn't believe it! WHEEE!!!! CHRISTMAS!!!!
