It's funny - us UK craftsters are like a little band; I can just see us running about in a little group everywhere...

Damnit. I've signed up.

I have no idea what to put! But here's a bit, I suppose.

Dear santa,

I would absolutely love to recieve...

1. Knitting supplies, such as what you get from Secret Pals, i.e. fun packages with nice yarn! I'm not too fussy but am not a huuuge fan of 100% acrylic. Some handspun or dyes yarn would be amazing.

2. A necktie skirt! These are fabulous!

3. Jewelry-making supplies...I really want to get into this (thanks to Jen!!). I have a LOT of seed beads, so none of those, please.

4. A bag. Here are some ideas I like...

+ Pleated clutch - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=24610.0 ( I love this; if you could add a strap - perhaps not of fabric, I don't think that would work, maybe a chain? - that would be brill, as I would be apt to leave a clutch on the floor)
+ Book clutches
+ Actually, I'd like anything; I wouldn't use anything really small, as I cannot bear to go out without a wad of tissues.

5. Some needlefelted creatures.

6. Sushi-themed stuff - clay earrings, felted ornaments, bags, crochet cushions....That's all I can think of. But I wouldn't use bookmarks; train tickets are used more by me.

7.  Jewelry!

8. Crochet amigurimi animals, http://www.roxycraft.com/crochet_amigurumi_animals.htm. My favourites are the elephant (it's pink!) and frog. And the hippo.

EDIT: I've just realised that the patterns aren't going to be free from November onwards, but I printed them out when I saw them, so if you'd like to crochet these for me *flutters eyelashes* then I'll send you the printout.

9. Some nice fabric, maybe 1-2m. I like prints.

10. Surprise me! I love surprises the most.

About me:
I'm 14 and in yr10 at school, and as well as maths, english, science, I take the best options - French, German, Music & Art. (Languages and arts! Yeah!) I'm half-Chinese, wear glasses and play the 'cello and the piano.

I'm a Cancerian, a Goat, and a Number Five. I am size 10, and my jeans waistband say 28", you know, in case you wanted to make me a skirt or something...

I like:
+ purple, purple, pink, indigo, purple, green, turquoise, black, red.
+ Hearts, stars, spots, playing cards, and especially those sun/moon or moon/star combo images, you know, this kind of thing, http://galerieslunamoon.free.fr/images/maj14/sun_moon.jpg (that's not a particularly good example, but you know what I mean)
+ the sea, the moon, black cats, willow trees
+ cats, owls, goats, crabs

Why, a cute little blobby creature made by needle felting, of course!!

Here's an example: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=42966.0 http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=36035.0

I meant a little creature made by needlefelting...or just felt....mmm, felt....
Who's joining us late? Spill!

*raises hand* Yup, that'd be me.

I'm doing my first swap at the mo which ends about the 18th November (but I may try to send early as I'm an eager beaver and have almost finished my project - plus it has to get to the US).

I just have to be a part of this as it's such a fantastic idea, and it's UK which is cool, and I lurve Christmas so much!!

Hope this is okay with everyone? Ph x

Here is my wish list, I found it really hard to do.

Dear santa,

I would absolutely love to recieve...

1. A bag which will fit phone, purse and glasses case in.

2. A Journal

3. Jewellery, (i never wear gold)

4. Beads for jewellery making, Making everything from silver is getting quite expensive and I quite fancy a bit of beading

5. Anything with stars on (5 pointed stars preferably)

6. Erm, a glasses case, mine is so drab and rubbish

7. Anything piratey! Skulls and crossbones!!

8. Cushion covers in red and cream (living room) or black and white (bedroom)

9. This is really hard because I actually just want anything, just a surprise! So I guess my last option is surprise me!

I thought of one more thing...

10. I really want a long scarf, i have a green one but I quite fancy another possibly black and white or black and purple or just black or black and any colour.
