I followed OhsewPretty's tut (with modifications):

Little Stuffies, Bunny, Cat, Bear...

Mine are smaller than her pattern (about 5" for the body and then 1.5" for the ears... filled with rice and polyfill) they tend to fall over without a weight in them.
