I'm very happy with this baby blanket, i made it for my sister's baby who is due in march. I got the pattern here http://www.sewonfire.com/round_ripple_afghan.htm but used caron simply soft and an h hook instead. It took one skein of each color, and it measures 36 inches from point to point.



I also made a hat and booties  Grin

(I totally read the title of this post wrong though... I was expecting something else, some weird blanket to comfort nursing babies... Glad to see this beautiful blanket though!)  Wink

The blanket looks REALLY nice. It's like a big giant starburst sitting on the floor. It's so bright and pretty!


It occurs to me that one could make a really awesome and huge pillow out of that if it were lined... Hm. I might have to look into that.
