I got an idea, and made myself a more feminine version of the chain wallet. Smiley

You'll need:

A bunch of beads

Something that works as a hook

The metal ring from a key chain

Durable thread, like vaxed thread

A ribbon

How to:

Start by tying the thread to the hook. Then put the beads on in wanted order until the length is about right. Then tie the end of the thread tighly to the metal ring. If you like to, tie a ribbon at the end like a bow. You can put your wallet on the metal ring, or just hang it from your pants as an accessory.

Here's what it looks like up close:

It's made in seconds, and can be varied in endless ways.

And you male crafters can of course skip the pearls and the pink beads and make yourself something a little less feminine.  Wink

Oh, and if you put the hook on the ring you can wear it as a necklace as well.

Just pouring out ideas here.  Tongue

I love it!  What a great idea.  I was expecting to see a chainmaille wallet or something in the wrong thread, but this is uber awesome.
