Those are all great! I just love crocheted hats <3 The fedora-like hat is AWESOME though.. it would look so cool in black with satin ribbon Grin ANYWAY, awesome job!

and the fedora (it was called a tyrolian hat in the pattern, but whos splitting hairs?), alas, is from a book.  an old vintage 70s collection of crochet patterns.  belonged to my mother before i stole it.  i accidnetally left it home (im at school) so it would be amonth or two before i could copy the pattern anyways.  if its not a copyright infraction, i would be happy to, once i got it.

Were you ever able to find the book?  Do you know the name of it?  I was digging the Tyrolean Hat last year and remembered to ask about it just now.

I've crocheted that cowboy hat pattern before...all it really is is a bucket with a big flat brim. If you shaped it, it may be able to do the fedora thing...but the brim would be pretty big (then again all you'd have to do maybe is just do less brim increases and rounds)
