I'm so jealous that you got your issue so quickly!
I've been checking my mailbox and nothing.  Nada.  I'm in love with several garments that you can see on their website and I can't wait to get my hands on this issue.

Oh I didn't get mine yet, but now I'm hopeful it'll be there this weekend.  I love vogue knitting, even though I always end up modifying something it is still full of such great places to start.

I absolutely love the bobble shrug/jacket, and the twinkle striped dress.  Do you think there would be an easy way to make the twinkle dress without the huge cowl neck?  I don't know if it would take away from the piece or not, but I'm not one for cowl necks.  Definately post your results!

I was SO thinking of making it without the cowl!  i had a sweater like that and i hated that - though i love the shape and the pockets.  that is my next undertaking.

I'm looooooving that really long knitted pea coat looking thing...so gorgeous!  I don't know if it'd be really functional as a real outergarment though.

I wish i could tell what pattern # 17 looked like!! From what I can see its really pretty!  I think the James coviello shrug is a bit like Knitty's Blackberry, though!

oh slimissaw good call with the Coviello shrug looking like Blackberry!  that sucks.  I am still eyeing the Kors tee and a mod'ed twinkle sweater.  I left the magazine at home but will look at #17 when I get home.

I really liked some of the Victorian pieces they had in this issue.  The first two red jackets and the see-through mohair sweater are  really really nice, but I don't know if I'd have anything to wear them with Smiley  I like this one better than last year's holiday issue.

Oh, I went out to Barnes and Noble (Salem, NH) to look for new knitting magazines yesterday, and they haven't gotten it yet!  I guess i'll have to wait awhile also.
