and sorry you can't exactly see the nice decreasing and increasing details

it's the same yarn that's in the book: Needful Yarns/Filtes King Van Dyck in color #129

Such a quick knit!

That looks great!  I didn't notice the side shaping quite as much in the book when I had it, but that makes me like it more. I thike the way it radiates from the center Smiley  And it looks good on you!

great job--that's my favorite pattern from the book, and i like it even more seeing yours finished .

I've only made one thing from it--the ruffled scarf and i was pleased with that, so maybe i'll do the vest after the holidays.

I can only echo the others in saying "Gorgeous!!" It looks lovely on you.   Smiley

That vest is one of the patterns that convinced me to buy the book.  I love quick but satisfying knits.

awww thanks everyone. Smiley

I found the yarn here: http://yarnfwd.com/vandyck.html

It's a little itchy around the collar, but I also have reaaallly sensitive skin.  Even my dermatologist advised me against wearing wool or at least, wear something under it.
The yarn itself is pretty soft, though it does have some scratchy bits of rough wool in it.  I'm sure if I washed it, those bits would get softer.

It really is a great book.
