Lookie Lookie! Not sure if anyone else has done the exact same thing, I'm sure some other crafty person has!  Unfortunately I don't have a bulletin board! So now my tacks are sitting in a dish with nothing to do. *sigh*

More details and a closeup can be seen at my blog:

**I've changed the photo to have it hosted by craftster. Hopefully it's working fine now!

Did you put something over them? Like a sealer? They look like they have a shine to them. Very nice job by the way.

Thanks for all the super nice words Smiley
But my poor marble magnets haven't done well at all, and I'm also not sure if I can truely sell these as a bunch of the images have been filched from magazines and catalogues.  The only ones that are probably safe are the handmade papers (which are lovely, just not terribly interesting to look at unless you're really up close to em)

And yes, I have coated them, so they look like shiny buttons Smiley

I think that you can still sell them because you are using the images from the magazines as found objects, and not reproducing the images for sale and saying that they are your own. I bought some purse mirrors that the images were cut out from old children's books. She advertised here on Craftster, so I would hope that would be legit!
