This is my first post of actually posting a project, so if something comes out backward or upside down or in Latin or something else crazy, let me know and I'll fix it!

Anyway, this is a bag I made out of record album covers.

Here is a front view:

And here is a side/rear view:

I am working on a tutorial with the next bag that I am making, and I hope to have that finished sometime this week.

Many thanks to web-goddess for her own excellent tutorial on her own site!  http://www.web-goddess.org/archive.php/postID/2416

Thanks!  I thought the bamboo handles were an appropriate match.  Amazing, the things you can find when you are just walking around Hobby Lobby!

And yes, I watched "South Pacific" too, when it was on TCM.  Such a great movie.  I was in the musical in high school, so it's always held a special place in my heart Smiley

That is a really cool idea. There is a store in Nashville called Curious Heart that I like to frequent that looks like it used the same technique, but used foreign soda cans instead. There were some cool ones of this Indian grape drink that rocked my socks!!!

That's a really cool idea.  I'll have to keep this one in mind when I have some time on my hands--maybe this Memorial Day weekend!

Lots of fun. I liked how you kept the whole thing together...

Curious about the soda can purses... how big are they... are they flattened out?
