I'm not sure if I'll get around to it anytime soon since my priority is on my wedding dress, but I bought a couple patterns for suits that I'd like to make for this summer.  Hoping to lose some weight and wear at two-piece this year (I never have!).  Where do you guys get your fabric?  I've been poking around a little -- I haven't even seen any cute prints and it all seems so pricey!  I guess you don't need very much of it though.   Wink

I've had some pink stretchy stuff for almost six months now. I want to find a pattern for a one-piece swimsuit/leotard with cute details. Maybe some ruching on the sides or something. Or like a backless one piece with cute crossing straps down the back. I think I'm going to draft the pattern myself.

I mostly want something flattering, that isn't a bikini. I have three of those, and I need something more modest for when I'm feeling self-conscious.

Hi! Summer is just around the corner...finally! What a crappy winter we had here in Canada! So, does anyone want to sew-a-bathing-suit/bikini-whatever-along with me?

I'll post mine anyways...but if your interrested... Cheesy

Took for granted all the little things.
But now it's over,

Bathing suits make me CRAAAAAAZAY when I try to sew them.  I once tried to make a bikini.  The bottom turned out not so bad...the top...we'll just say it would be bordering on pornographic if worn in public.

But hey, if you can do it and do it well, (or even if you just try) more power to ya!

Step one:  Collect Underpants
Step two:  ? ? ?
Step three:  Profit!
