i finally completed another hooded shrug!  i started this at the beginning of my roadtrip i took this year, around mid august, this thing travelled everywhere with me. even to burning man where it became dusty just like everything else there.... but nonetheless i finnaly finished it a few months later... and i love it... this is the third one i have made... first one was the devilish hooded shrug found here... http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=32147.0

so yeah check out the pics and let me know what you think... there is a pattern for the devilish shrug.. and i think im going to make a free pattern site for my stuff off of my website... oh and more pics can be found on my blog... addy in signature!

the back off hood and bakc joining detail...

That is an awesome, awesome shrug! What weight of yarn did you use?

spirals420,
Very very unique!  The X's are a great idea.  I would love to make one - but don't know that i'd ever have the guts to be so cool as to wear it!

you can make one less funky too... the basic pattern is so simple you can modify it however you want.. make a white one with bell sleeves and no hood... or all black or whatever.. anyone can pull it off... just suit it for your own style...  you will love it i swear...
