Isn't it great? A friend of mine did it. It looks exactly like my dog! My mom thinks it's terrible I have a portrait of my dog but not my kids!

I have lots of pictures of my girls...

Whoo hoo!! I got an awesome package from humblestumble yesterday!!
She sent me this amazing neck pillow, which is of a mermaid wrapped around your neck - so comfortable and just what I need for crocheting in bed! She also made me this cool hemp bracelet with shells on it, which I am wearing right now. Thanks so much humble, I love them both!

Please post pics if you have them - I don't have my camera right now and probably won't get it for a while, and your pictures will probably be a lot better than mine anyway.

Thanks again!! Grin

Dangit, lol. I didnt have charged batteries when I wanted to take pictures of the mermaid, but I'll upload and post my webcam picture of the mermaid and my digicam pic of the bracelet.

So GLAD you like them! My boyfriend though that it was kinda creepy that the mermaid's face was on both sides.

Those are much better pictures than what I would have been able to do with my camera, but she looks much better in person. She has these really cute glittery lips! And I like it that she has a face on both sides! That way, it doesn't matter which way I put her around my neck Cheesy

Thanks again humble!

you're welcome! I had fun making them Smiley And the macrame was so much easier than I imagined! It's just like the beginning of tie-ing shoes, just over and over and over again - it ends up with this spiral! It's just so neat!

And the mermaid was trial and error... at first I thought of making you an octopus or something like  that magnetic cell that you made for a biolgy friend...then I found out that was your post.

I also had this idea to make you a striped octopus hat...kinda like a rasta, or a beanie with legs dangling, but then I found out you weren't too fond of hats, so I decided mermaids were the best way to go...and then I was like "whoa, mermaid neck pillow! That's useful, and cute!" So, I did a test run and it went smoothly, then I did the real thing and the fabric started to stretch a little bit, so the tail doesnt look exactly like i intended it, and initially I wasn't going to stitch the arms like I did, but when I stuffed it, it didnt look like arms.
