Here's what I got from jan_on_ice today! First is a beautiful handbound book:



The photo doesn't really do the paper justice...it's nicely textured with flowers and leaves in it. I just might make this my swap notebook. It's so pretty.

And for a little bonus:


Look at this precious little guy! (I hope the photo's not too dark. If it is, that's his eyes and nose down at the lower left corner.) He's a hedgehog pincushion that fits on your wrist. How could I ever stick pins in him, though? He's too cute! I will have to watch him carefully. One of my daughters is showing way to much interest in him!

Well here's what I got from Jan_on_ice! I love it! I wasn't expecting this stuff at all!

Blue poodle skirt and crochet hook:

(nevermind the look on my face, I had to do this with the camera timer and I was looking at the camera waiting for the picture to be taken)


And right after that, I opened a box from rackycoo, this is what I got

Cute skirt, jan_on_ice!

OMG! I just recieved the most amazing package from rackycoo! (I had lots of fun unwrapping it all!!)

She sent me this incredible nautical-themed (treasure) box, some cute fishy earrings (that are on a paint sample card, which is of course called "Blue Island"), and some vanilla body spray (mmmmm.... how'd you know?... heehee )

The box has all these vintage looking nautical maps all over it, a compass, an octopus (because no map is complete without the scary sea monster!), fishies, sequins, and a piece of worn glass from the British Virgin Islands. Inside is a fishy blowing out sequin bubbles and some pretty brown padding at the bottom.

(If you squint hard and use some imagination, you can see the word "OCEAN" on the lid, "ISLAND" on the side and my name on the back )

It really is the most amazing treasure box (these pics just don't do it justice - if you have any better pics rackycoo, please post them) and I love it so much! I have just sprayed myself with the vanilla and it smells just like the stuff I used to get...mmmmmm yum! And I am going to wear the fishy earrings for luck for my Biology of Fish exam next week!
