 Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone has a link or maybe a pattern for cat clothing (jackets, shirts, sweaters, booties etc.).
I was hoping to make some cute kitty costumes for her but I just need an idea on how... kinda got lost  Roll Eyes
(Oh, here's 'Kitty'... yes that is her name  Wink)

Thanks,
~Rae~

thats an adorable cat..
but are you sure your cat wants   any costumes? cats don't even like to wear flea collars and the like.
and its not like dogs, who can sometimes 'need' jackets to keep them warm?

Nah, she doesn't mind (she's an odd cat... kinda like my dog, he likes to dance...).
I've put on this little doll dress (doesn't fit her perfectly, cause the dress part is too short and the arm holes are too high) and she didn't mind, she even wanders around in it.
I suppose she used to it because of her harness Undecided
But I was thinking during the winter it get very cold, and that's when I start to find her under my big blanket, so it would be good for her (plus being in a basement room isn't all that warm).

Not really a dress, but these costume patterns always crack me up when I look at them.

tee hee! Those pictures made my day! Oh if only my cat would cooperate...  Oh, and I think that those cats are scottish folds (hence the folded ears). I love 'em, they're so odd. Wink

Oh my I'd forgotten about Catprin-my mom e-mailed me that a few months back. I love the cute translation 'errors' in there too...hee hee!

My cat is not a fashion cat.  I knit her a super sweater, with pink and turqouise yarn....which she refuses to like.

Her response was either
a. flatten herself to the ground and stay immoblie Angry
2. hiss and try to bite me when I tried to dress her
or Cry
III. barf in the middle of the floor while wearing the sweater. Tongue

It now lives on my giant bumble doll from Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer..... and he's much happier with it.

I think that the key to a cat's acceptance of wearing clothing may have to grow up with getting dressed up..... and as you can see from my avatar your Kitty and my foster cat Raja could be sisters!!!  Well except for the creepy human features she's got.....

  Cheesy lol
my other cat was, his name was 'Spaz' (he was Kitty's son).
He simply flop onto the floor, not moving, and giving a really low grumbly-growl .
Grin What a cute kitty... even with the slightly creepy human-ness she's got!
