Oh Man I love Mole Day!  When I was in high school, my chem 2 class (all 8 of us) filmed a commercial for the school announcements about mole day. (Our teacher was the a/v guy).  We got to make a paper mole and blow him up in a chemistry experiment on film.  I guess they show it every mole day from then on.

I should make shirts with avogadro's number and wear them on mole day.  Good job with the hat.  Maybe it will start a movement....

I sewed a mole for mole day... I was thinking of posting it here but my teacher has it so sadly I can't take a picture... anyway... it had to be a play on the word "mole" so I made mine brown, gave it an afro, gave it a t-shirt with the French flag on it, and called it a "Cremole".  (Get it?  Creole?  My teacher didn't at first...)

Actually, 6.02 x 10^23 is how many particles are in one mole (a unit of measurement).  We celebrate mole day on October 23rd because it's 10/23.  Really dorky, but a good excuse to be crafty with moles.

OH!  Yes, I remember moles now.  It's been awhile since I've been in a chemistry class.
I always liked the idea of 10^23 for some reason.
