Your lucky friend will never forget about you!!!

The pattern is REALLY great. Thoses old knitting books are so great when you find the good ones!!!
And that would be very nice if you could scan it and post it...

I'm a bit affraid with those patterns (in french it's called Jacquard). Is it hard???

Thank you for posting it. Great job!

To be honest its not really that hard... I mean its not like i had to jump into using all the colours at once. First few rows was just pink and black then it would be pink, black and peach... you just work your way down the pattern gradually adding new colours.

I'm actually in the process of making the real thing now... that was just a practise for me. I will show it when its completed.

i would love to have that betty boop pattern..  does anyone know a good place for me to find a tutorial for hand-knitting this kind of stuff?  i've found tons of tutorials for jacquard on knitting machines, but none for somebody that just has needles.

Amazing!  I'll be something like this would look even BETTER felted.  Or maybe I'm just craving some felting right now.  I hate being stuck at work all the time since I get to look at all these awesome things people are making but I can't work on them myself!

If it lives in the water or flies in the air, I'm in love with it. In New Zealand I saw a flying fish and almost wet myself.
