It's more of a comfort thing really, but I can't go past "meat" and veg with some kind of sauce.  Lately it's been cumbed soy pattie, mashed potato and cauliflower and broccoli in a creamy sauce.  I guess it makes me feel good because that's the kind of thing my Nanna would always make for me.
Other than that, I'm big on pasta and vegetable bake, tacos, nachos, pizza and baked vegies.

vege toad in the hole or vege bangers and mash, i love most "homely" type foods.
I LOVE gravy, i have been known on a bad day to make some gravy, dip in some bread and have that as a meal

Vegetarian chicken and homemade noodles...so basically, homemade noodles, in veggie broth...thickened....and with carrots, onions, and celery...it's a VERY thick, hearty soup...and my absolute favorite meal...

Especially if served with asparagus...

I love chicken stuffed with mozzerella and wrapped in bacon... My mum's lasagne is great too.

Also my boyfriend's mum's chili and his grandmothers chicken chow mein (she's from Mauritius and she's the best!)

I'm hungry, I think its time for dinner!

I'm from Argentina so my fave food is most definately a good, slow cooked bit o beef!!  Another of my fave argentine meals is "milanesa", which is what Americans call "chicken fried steak" but that sounds so hillbilly, and what the Germans call "schnitzel"...so delish!!!  They also make milanesas made of chicken and some beef ones that have cheese and ham on top...and at this one argentine restaurant, La Farola de Olivos, their mashed potatoes are THE BEST!!!!!! sigh, i miss argentina....

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection
