Worked all summer on it, and now its fall in chi-town and I can't show it off. This is probably the first time I've used the yarn the pattern asks for, lol.

Oh! I love that! I love the stripes, and the intersia you chose on the front. Great job!

Isn't that the worst when you finish your knit project at the end of the appropriate season? That happened to me last winter, when I finished my long sleeve wool cardigan in April.

Love it. A great design. And it suits you so well!

As for the 'out of season' knitting, I know all about that. I'm working on a cabled woolen vest in the middle of (Australian) spring, so by the time I'm done, there's no way I'll be able to wear it for months.

I really should select more season appropriate projects.

That is SO badass! I really like the basic design of the pattern but I too would want to do something different instead of the mud flap girl. I'm just not sure what yet, but I'm sure it won't top yours Smiley
