wow nina, awesome tutorial!  i just started making my own creatures and this answered all of the questions i was having as i made my lil guys yesterday.  thanks so much for putting so much time and effort into it!  your monster is one of the most adorable, coolest ones i've ever done seen 0_o

Umm, ditto to what everyone said.  Also, I wonder if my dogs would be able to play with it or if it would fall apart?  They tore up my "sock dog" project - mostly ripped the buttons off.  I would probably do one without the beads.

Oh, I just love him!! The tutorial was great too. I've made a few of these before, but this is the first time I've seen a detailed guide to making them. I think I would prefer to put the face on first, but I can relate to your fear that the sewing will go off - I'm hardly a master seamstress myself. ^_^ Great job, though. I'm very inspired to make some more little creatures now.

stuffed toys is something i've never tried, i'm more of a clothes and accessories girl, but after seeing this post, and the other one, i'm definitely gonna give it a whirl.
