I've seen so many cute monster things here on craftster, and it inspired me to make my own little monster.

He's stuffed with scrap fabric and has teddy bear eyes and felt fangs, with a standard pin back attached on the rear.

Here he is hanging out on my daughter's pajama pants...she promptly claimed him for her own after posing for this pic. ^^;

The best part about this is making him only took me about 5 minutes.  A good quick craft fix before I have to get ready to leave for work.  ^_^
I hope this is the right forum for this project...I typically live in the purses/bags forum so I don't know too much about what goes on outside of there, lol.
Anyway, what do you think?

He's adorable.  A great idea for those of us that don't have time to make a monster bag!  Thanks for sharing.

Thank you!  Yes, I think it's much easier (not to mention cheaper, dang that fur is expensive!) than making a monster bag, or just a nice touch if you don't want something so over the top.

omg that is so cute. so, you just took faux fur and stuffed it into a ball basically and attached teeth and eyes and a pin?

ayeshcube:
Yeah, I cut out two circles of fur fabric (about 4" each) with a little tab on each of them for tucking in and sewing shut after stuffing it.  Then before I sew I attach the eyes, teeth, pin, etc.  Then I sew up to the tabs, turn right side out, stuff, and tuck the tabs in and sew.  Easy peasy. Cheesy
