Ugh, I'm sure there have been a million "What should I knit for my husband's/boyfriend's birthday?" threads, but I'm having no luck with the search today.
Please please advise me!
I started a pair of socks, but due to an unfortunate gauge error  Roll Eyes they will have to go to a small footed relative instead. I'm running short of time so I'm definitely not up for a whole jumper & I don't want to risk the sock thing in case it happens again.
What else can I make?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh?
HELP!

A walk-in closet full of yarn isn't TOO much...

Do you live somewhere cold?  A knitted winter item?  I only knit my boyfriend hats because that's the only thing he likes knitted.. but he has 4 of them (so far) hehe

Guys can be weird about things looking "girly" so I usually have to ask if they would wear it first but I've been dying to make my bf a pair of manly looking thrummed mittens for use in cleaning snow off his car and stuff.

If not, maybe some kind of cozy.. ipod, cellphone, etc.  You could use intarnasia to make it personal.

As has been suggested elsewhere, Knitty's Danica is both fairly quick and manly. Don't be put of by entrelac. Just follow the instructions and it all works out. And you'll never fear picking up stitches again Cheesy
