Damn, you guys seriously rule. I wish you could all come to the party.

Emma Lee, thank you for the links! That is EXACTLY what I need.

Frew Frew, I think it's hilarious your little one likes to take bloody baths. You sound like my kinda lady to let him partake.

And stevenjames, I am lovin' the kidney idea. If we don't do it in the bathroom we'll have to do it in the cooler on the bar.  And the shrunken heads are so effing cool; everyone who has seen them have been equally impressed and disturbed, exaclty the sentiment we like to achieve. We are adding the hair to the heads this week to finish them off. I really will post pictures when everything is done. Thank you for the great, and cost effective idea.

I remember when I was younger, my sister used to paint my mom's car for "Spirit Week" in high school.(She had a LOT more spirit than I did.) She would put auto wax on the car, and without washing it off, paint with normal tempra paints. There was never any problem washing it off and absolutely no staining, plus it was the only time the car EVER got waxed. I wonder if you could do that with the tub. I'd maybe do a spot test first, and use a non-slip mat after (!) but you could probably do some different colors & stuff that way. I don't think the wax is water-soluable, so it shouldn't dissolve... but I don't know for sure... Good luck & post photos!

Yes, wax! Fabulous idea! I wouldln't be so concerned about the tub staining but I live with 3 others and will also have guests in town for the weekend so the tub needs to clean up nicely. Wax...why didn't I think of that? Cheerleaders be so crafty.

I had an apartment once that ALWAYS had a creepy bathtub, but that's another story. What about floating candles and a sheer red shower curtain? Simple, yet creepy.  Maybe add a silhouette or sound effects coming from inside, if there's a safe way to do that (radio + bathwater = potentially creepier than you had planned)

WOW!  There are so many excellent ideas on this thread.  I still went with the idea i used last year.  It's just so much easier to clean up.   Wink

Here is my PSYCHO SHOWER SCENE.  I used black poster board and cut out silhouettes.  Then I taped them between the 2 shower curtains.  I taped it to the plastic curtain, then hung the fabric one over it.  It looks great with a light behind it.

I also added a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door knob..  ENJOY!

hell yeah, or even one out of cardboard, or a top at least with something Cajun, voodoo-y on it, or maybe on the door to the bathroom.
