Autumn Bag Swap Gallery!

lol nope, thanks tho haha. Wow I've posted a lot.

My bag is really pretty. It's black with a think blue stripe down the center flap (It seems like a mix between a messenger bag and a jordy) The blue strip has little white flutters on it that look like snow. Its the same fabric as the lining. Lots of pockets

I plan on uploading a picture later tonight - I dont have the cable connectos with my camera atm. I really love it tho.

I'm the first to post pictures!

I came home today and found the most amazing bag waiting for me from my partner, jankeldesigns!!  Of course, my husband had already opened the package because he's so nosy, but that didn't take away from my excitement.

She used this awesome velvety material that feels so soft.  What fabulous sewing skills!  She also made a cute little matching wallet stocked with monopoly money.

but i think ours will take longer cause it has to cross the border =(

PS Jane the bag may be out of shape when it gets there.  Just sprits it with water and shape it let it dry over night ( this is the nature of wool)

She also sent me a letter explaining that she meant for the theme to be a "foggy night". I think it turned out quite good! She even included a little ghost in a jackolantern saying "boo"!

I love the messenger bag!  I think the theme of "a foggy night" is really clever!

I think messenger bags, no matter what size, are ingenious anyway.  With the "foggy night" theme, you'll have people asking where you got such a beautiful, one of a kind bag everyday.  I love the pin too...really nice touch.

Looks like fall's foggy night can take you into winter's stary stary night.  Cute pouch and pin.  So many are sending little extra details and pieces.  Soooo neat.

Seeing all these great bags has me on pins and needles today as maybe, just maybe a bag from knittinggoddess will make it to me today, but figuring more likely early next week due to crossing the border.

Okay, here is the bag I received from andreamarie.  She also sent me a pair of matching earrings which I've worn proudly ever since I have rec'd them and have carried the purse.

Outside view of bag.  Outer fabric is a brown material that is similar to slacks with a slight pin stripe.  Detailed with hand sewn on flowers with button embellishments in the middle of each.  Tie closure with ribbons.  Good size bag, not as big as a typical tote but small enough to be a purse.


Inside of bag with all my junk.  Three huge pockets inside.


And kudo's to my partner for sending me gorgeous earrings to match the bag.
