Wow, oh so pretty, wonderful rich fall colors.  Cranberries are a favorite food and their rich red color accenting the bag is lovely.

Thanks andreamarie...don't tell anyone but I "googled" the word squirrel and then stole a picture off the Internet.  Then, using my handy transfer paper, I traced the pilfered rodent and wha-la!---Squirrel goodness.

Yay!  I received humblestumble's BEAUTIFUL bag yesterday (or was it today?  Sorry all my days are a blur lately)  Anyway, it is so gorgeous and unlike anything I have which makes it absolutely perfect!  I will try to get pictures posted tomorrow. 

Thank you SO MUCH humblestumble  I LOVE IT, and now must coordinate some outfits around it.       I do this everytime I get a new bag.  I'm such a geek!

Aw! I'm soooo soo glad you love it! My cats like to lay on everything I crochet or knit, so I had to really work at getting the cat hair off lol, I didn't let them lay on it for long, but it was bugging me that hairs were even noticeable. Shouldn't be noticeable now though - I went crazy for every speck!

I handsewed the fabric along the mouth, so the bottom is easily pulled up-able and cleanable, I'd only handwash it though. Also because I hand stitched the lining on, and I forgot if that yarn bleeds. I dont think it does, ... I hate loosing labels! I loved that yarn and it was just sitting around and I hadn't started your bag yet... I got the fabric last minute and it only cost 66 cents! I was so glad! I still have some left over And the flower was on sale You're a spoiled one, you are (the flower would originally sell for like 8 bucks a peice. I believe it's suede fabric.)

Sorry for spoiling everyone on the outcome! I was really happy with the way it turned out! At first I was like "eh, I dont even know if she'll like this ... it looks like crap" and after I had all the fabric on and stuff, I thought it looked pretty good - I surprised myself!

I'm ssooo glad you liked it! You deserved it! I'd been wanting a messenger bag forever, and now I carry it with me everywhere! It's like a security blanket. I have all my knitting stuff in there (my light projects - socks, and other stuff)

I think it's cool that you coordinate your clothes to ur bags - I noticed you've been in like nothing but bag swaps! I was hoping you didn't have anything like it!

Yea ! that is super cute! Originally, I was going to sew a bag and applique a squirrel on it... I'm glad I didn't though! I love squirrelss...

I am fairly certain that Fancy got my package a week ago so I will just post pics of the bag I sent her.   


this is the tote from far away.  I took 2 layers of tulle and sandwiched a grid of fun yarn and and threw in some other fibers for prettiness.   I also quilted in some fall leaves with a gold thread.  I had SO much fun thinking up things to do.  The bag is also reversible, it has some shiny fabric on the inside, but I liked the leaves better.

As far as I know both knittinggoddess and I are impatiently awaiting the across the border transfer of goods.  She sent early, it has been 12 days in route so far, the bag I sent north has been traveling 9 days, perhaps they waived in passing at some point.  Each day I think "tomorrow it will arrive."  well one day tomorrow will get here.
