I love red black and white, and anything with Fornasetti's Lady image..I am still working on things for my new sewing trailer, this will be a button box. I like the painting style too look kind of cartoonish..

Wow.

That is beautiful. How did you get that picture onto the box?
I love everything that has to do with Vintage design, so I want it in my room!

I know what yer thinkin'. Did he fire 6 shots or only 5? Frankly, in all the confusion I kinda lost track myself. But you gotta ask yourself one question. Do I feel lucky?

yeah lol a trailer, my husband got tired of the dining room being a sewing studio and we really dont want to add on to the house and god forbid he gives up one of the 3 garage bays we have, so he bought a used single wide trailer and hes converting it into a studio for me, its slow going because thats how he does things.

The image was scanned from an art book I have of Fornasetti and printed out on my ancient inkjet to the size of the lid then just modge podged down..If you google Fornasetti theres tons of images all over the net, I believe theres 500 different versions of the lady pictured. He was one of the 1st artists to use his art commecially on plates and clocks and esp. lighting fixtures. I also love his architectural works.

I want to thank you so much for posting this and bringing this amazing designer to our attention. I hadn't heard of him and searched on google and found out all kinds of info on him.Such cool stuff! And that led me to finding the black table Debbie Travis did with the lady on it. Fornasetti did so many creative things that he deserves to be noted. Thanks again.
