Okay, so I had to leave work the other day so I could buy and read this book. Halfway through it, I decided for sure that I wanted to do this swap. What a great book! I grew up not to far from Pittsburgh, and even though i moved to another big city, it is EXACTLY how he described when you drive through the Fort Pitt tunnel into the city. Amazing. I still get that feeling whenever I drive into Pittsburgh. Anyways, I just wanted to share...LOL

Question: Does the swap end on the 1st October 2006 or 1st November 2006? Huh Can't wait though!

yeah, i know it's a long time, and several people are in college so addresses are going to get a bit messy.  maybe you could start a shorter round 2?

in other news, about half of you that have already signed up live in the UK and the other half live in america (with one canadian and one australian)  i think one or two of you said you didn't want to send outside of your country, but would the rest of you be interested in making it an international swap?  or would it be easier to receive from your own country because you'd be more familiar with the terms, politics, places, etc. referenced?

International would be interesting and I suppose quite fun, but within the region (e.g. UK) would be easy.

I'm really not that fussed.
