For some reason, I absolutely LOVE this pattern!  So I thought I'd give it a shot!  Anyone want to knit it with me?  (It could make a very special Christmas gift for somebody!)

Hey! I was just about to start one! My friend commissioned it and bought the yarn (Sierra from Knitpicks.com). It just came in today! I can't wait to start it, but I have to--I have to finish something that's due in 2 weeks. So...I'll be joining you soon.

I've been lurking like crazy on these boards (especially the knitting topics) for a long time now, but this is the one that made me come out of hiding!  I've been scouring the net for others who are knitting Josephine as well.  I'm about half done with mine - will post pictures when I have a chance (er when I can locate my camera).  I'm knitting it with Cascade Ecological wool, in a mushroom color.

ETA: US size 10.5 needles got me the gauge using this wool, although the pattern recommends US 10.75's.

Got a progress pic of the back...I changed the cables slightly.  The original cable patterns are great, but sometimes I like to do things a little differently!

Oooooh.  I love this pattern too.  Looks so cozy.  I've got several patterns back-logged at the moment but hope to join in on the KAL next month if it's still going on!

I'm sure it will still be going next week, cause I just started it...or rather..I have the needles and yarn and just CO. I've never read cable charts before...this might be a stupid question (and I'm about to research it)  but do you read the charts from left to right? or back and forth? hmmm...

I was new at reading charts as well...  Thankfully, chameleon helped me out by answering all of my questions! (Thanks again!)

I also found some great websites on reading charts:
How To Read Charts Part 1
How To Read Charts Part 2
How To Read Charts Part 3

I hope these sites work!
