I have red hair and i've been thinking of going as Dorothy from the wizard of oz...I guess that's really more of an auburn color but it's similar to what I have now, which I still call red Wink

Let's not forget the little mermaid (Ariel)! There's also:

Mary Jane (spiderman)
Anne of Green Gables
Daphne (scooby doo)
Wilma and Pebbles Flinstone
 Maude Flanders (simpsons)
Jessica Rabbit (Rodger Rabbit)
Jean Grey (X-men)
Ronald Mcdonald. lol

you could also go as a little irish girl or a vixen

The best redhead in all the world... Willow  Grin from Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Rogue from the X Men, forget the movie, I'm talking about the one from the kids cartoon

If she's not red enough for you then there's Phoenix

Or

Ariel The Little Mermaid
Flora from Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors - some pictures here http://www.gloum.net/da_jayce.php?page=jayce if you can't recall the 80's cartoon
Queen Elizabeth I - you can also play her like Miranda Richardson does in Blackadder and voila 2 characters in one.  Smiley

one of those dolllike/anime/manga generalised girlie girl (sorry don't know the actual term) redheads, carry cutesy japanese style props and makeup your eyes real big.
Medieval Scottish Wench (quite often redheads)

Ronald McDonald  - I'm not serious unless you think it's a good idea Cheesy
