voila!  the beginnings of my amazing spock halloween costume.  made 100% from scratch.  I even drafted my own pattern!  I think I'm going to actually try and find an insignia pin at my local nerd store, also I haven't had time to make my tricorder yet.  but geez, I'm so proud of myself!  what do you guys think?!?

Live long and prosper!  It looks great.  Is someone going to dress up as Kirk with you?

Wonderful! Do you have the ears to go with it???
Somehow I've got the image stuck in my head of Spock with a conehead on top........sorry, I need to stop and take a "Giggle Break"..........I can just picture Spock saying, "I am from France!".......tee-hee!

Bones!  That's even better and you'd be in the matching blue uniforms.  You have my vote! Grin

ha, I just made them out of paper, since I'm way too cheap to buy the rubber ones.  I cut pieces out of a manilla folder, colored them with oil pastels, and folded them into cones.  then I punched holes in the sides and tied them on with some leftover yarn.  they actually turned out half decent!

thank you!  it took me a long time to make this costume.  my boyfriend says that if I'm extra good this year, he'll buy me a spock tv tray, so I can eat my dinner off leonard nimoy's face.  (sigh)  how dreamy is that?!?
