Hi, just finish another clutch/ evening bag  I think I will make myself one too. I make all these bag to sell and for gifts and yet haven't made myself my dream bag. Maybe I should start a thread on what makes a dream handbag ? Thats a hard one I wouldn't know where to start  Roll Eyes. Any how here's my new bag it is like one I posted a few days ago but bigger with a zipper pocket, which I am totally addicted to putting in bags now I have mastered them (I was scared for a long time, of putting in zips). I plan to make some more with other sparkly fabric I have & now I know how to make cut out handle bags I think there is no stopping me  Shocked

Thanks you guys for your great feedback. Brokenpencil I used these tut's as inspiration

The great Starlene cutout handle tut  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=24769.0

SewPixie for her zipper tut which can be used to make the handles too (step 1- step 6 handled shaped)

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=11808.0

And the Jordy for your square bottom, http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=32204.0

with these 3 tuts you could do any shape of bag you wish  Grin

Oh geez, I've admired your bags for a while now but I didn't know you sold them. I might have to tell myself to forget I ever discovered that. Your bags are great, and I love that you have a wide variety of styles.

Yeah yer can, decide how wide & long you want it be i.e 30 cm x 3 cm ,  add seam allowance for the sides i.e 1.5 cm x 2 , pin right side of fabric together along the edge then sew, trim edge. Turn the right way and then iron with seam at the side. Take some thread & needle and do a large running stitch along the bottom seam edge and then pull too gather up the fabric, sew both ends together to form a ring.

Hopes this make sense, let me know  Smiley

Thanks livineasy, it maks me happy to know you like my bags. I have so many diff styles because I still looking for the holy grail in bag design, plus I have so many diff fabics in my cupboard that want to become different kind of bags  Roll Eyes its hard to decide what to do with it all sometimes  Huh
