My collage is made out of cardboard that I painted, twigs, leaves, and cut out pirate halloween costumes from flyers. I was inspired by the pirates in the flyers to make this collage because I love pirates.  Grin

I appreciate your responses.

This is awesome!  I just love it!

You know, in Lusaka, Zambia, there's this priceless billboard.  It has a picture of a pirate and it says underneath it, so succinctly:

"Don't litter, or the pirates will get you!"

I never had my camera when I was near there, sadly.  I really loved that sign.  I think we should have a campaign like that for all our public service announcements.  "Don't do drugs, the pirates will get you!"  "Don't have unprotected sex, the pirates will surely know about it!  And they won't approve!" "Real pirates don't use porn." "Pirating music will..." oh, well, never mind....

Work is love made visible.

Excellent idea! You know about International Pirates Day? I think it is in September.... talk like a pirate for the day!

I loved Vikings when I was a child, I wonder what it is...the romantic side of it portayed in films?
