I tried to make my friend's dog a sweater using the knifty knitter and my first skein of homespun yarn.

Needless to say, while the sweater turned out alright with even armholes and everything...it was a wee bit too small to get onto his odd-shaped body.

He looks like he wants to kill us (or run away crying because we were laughing so hard at this visual).

So, he didn't get a sweater, but a head-warmer....we figure maybe the sweater will fit her cat.

P.S. There are more pictures on my Photobucket account, s/n kallbrier.

That is HILARIOUS! His ears fit the holes pefectly! It's a doggie cowl! Maybe if you used the rectangular purple knifty knitter you could make one that goes over his back and attaches to the hood somehow? Hmmm...  I love embarrassing my dog by making him try on wigs...

That is one unhappy Italian greyhound!  I can't stop giggling!  It reminds me of the time we squeezed my mini poo into a sweater that made him look like a sausage with two fluffy ends!  He was so angry!  (see my icon for a visual of him angry)  hee hee hee   Grin

Hahahahaha that's soooo cute. Can I ask how did you do the arm holes with the knifty knitter? I have one and I didn't know you could do that.

so cute, such a sad bewildered look on his face!   Cheesy
I'd like to know how you did the arm holes too.  I have the urge to make a sweater for my cat now, even though he'll bite me when I try to dress him.
