How about a swap where you make someone a variety of 5-10 magnets. You can use anything at all to make the magnets: felt, paper, clay, marbles, stickers, whatever. This is similar to the pin/button swap I just propsed. If anyone is interested, let me know...

I'd be interested if the quantity was on the low end of the spectrum -- 10 just sounds intimidating.  Wink

Oh, I love magnets!!!  I don't think 10 sounds too much if you throw in some marble ones.  But if you do more time consuming ones, 4 or 5 sounds good.
This would be a lot of fun, and shipping wouldn't cost too much  Grin

Yeah I never thought of that.. theres probably a bit of difference between marble magnets, and some made from clay.. maybe something like..

10 small effort, 7 medium effort, 5 larger effort? or something lol.. and then people could substitute how they wanted.. like make 4 small effort and 3 large effort.

Sounds complicated though.. lol

hmmmmmmmm. this could be neat. i love cool magnets but somehow own NONE. zero. zip. nada. gimme coooooooool magnets!

question: for people who would ship internationally...
it's actually illegal to ship magnets overseas (well, i know it is for you to do that in new zealand and i wouldn't be shocked if it is for others). i know everyone does it, but what if someone's did not make it through because of that (confiscated, etc.)? when i was in the states and sent my boyfriend a package with computer parts in it and some other things, it was sent back to me because it was x-rayed and thought to be a possible bomb!!! talk about embarrassing (also frustrating, since he REALLY needed the part quick)! anyway, point i'm trying to make is i'm just wondering if that would be something to take into consideration... ?

Interesting. I've shipped international before and I've told them that I'm shipping some magnets. It was not a problem and everyhting got their safe and sound.
