I just finished my first sweater, and am very pleased with how it turned out. I used the pattern from here: http://web.archive.org/web/20011203111937/www.cei.net/~vchisam/groovy/10-11.html. Someone else on craftster made one and I had to try it. It was a really easy pattern to follow. I only had to alter it a teeny bit (it was going to be a bit big)and since its worked sideways, all you need to do to make it smaller is to take away a few rows. I used less than 2 skeins of caron simply soft in the green color. The grey and pink were just scraps.

Great sweater- love the colours  Smiley  When I get time I'm going to try make a sweater that's a fit more shaped- the two I have previously made are the big, baggy, lounging around kind.
