Don't be terrified, this hat was simple, and the pattern was easy to read. It's not intarsia, it's fair isle, which means the yarn is kept behind the stiches. Fair isle is sooo much simpler. I highly recommend this pattern.

what yarn is that?  i've been looking for a good sub for the yarn they use in the original...

actually i have no idea, its just cheap acrylic yarn that i found at the thrift store. its all diffrent brands, but i know its worsted weight. sorry that doesnt really help.

One of my favorites from this issue, which I would be making if I didn't commit (well) to 'Josephine' first.  Adore yours!  Turned out super...nice, cheery and bright!
