what if it was "fill a big fat padded envelope swap"? it might be cheaper than sending a box? and you can still fit a lot of stuff in a big fat padded envelope

Well like i said sizes can be discussed with your partner and if you'd rather send in a padded envolope thats fine too, just maybe test fit it into a shoebox and make sure its enough!

although i dont think it would be that much cheaper because shoeboxs are thin and dont weigh much, but to answer your question, well atleast i think it was a question....Yes, you can send in a padded envelope as long as the contents fill a shoebox. But you might want to discuss specifics with your partner!!

Also, some people might not want to spend the extra money on a padded envelope...

Just sent info. This looks like so much fun!

If people are concerned about costs, then priority boxes are always an option. The boxes are different sizes and each box is a certain price. They tell you how much it would be for that box and then you can stuff it as much as you want. As long as you can close it without using packaging tape to close it (it has a seal on it already) you can send it for that price. I send a decent size box for like $5-7 to my cousin all the time with stuff I find for her. So that's always an option.
