My knitting group and I went to a Fiber Festival last week-end. We had to drive two hours away, and I figured being that far from home for the day required some necessities.

I made these little zipper bags from this tutorial http://www.thimble.ca/?p=146 and then filled them with some things I thought we might need throughout the day. I also made the little tags. if you look closely, they have a bunch of fall colored leaves on them. We were going to a Fall Fiber Festival, so it seemed fitting.

I used some fabric I've had lying around for a few years now. They're not the greatest colors/patterns but the girls loved them!

Each bag had all of these things inside. Different colors of course. And you should know, the tissues came in real handy when the port-a-potty had no TP in is. The sanitizer also played a big role in our day, hehe. Smiley

The tutorial was very easy. I will definitely be making more of these!

That is a brilliant idea....what a great gift to give someone.  I am sure we all need a survival kit in our purses!  You could really personalise it too!

What a cool idea - and so nice of you! I'm going to make one for my Brace Kit (I'm sick of carrying around a boring plastic wallet thing.)
