Those are lovely. I think she's Japanese and I do think that there is some gorgeous felt making going on there. I got 3 Japanese felt making books for my birthday and the photos are just delicious. I want to make them all. The only downside is that all the instructions are in Japanese, but I'm hoping to figure it out anyway. Thanks for sharing the site!

Lovely stuff! And the text is in Japanese (my knowledge does not extend any farther than being about to identify many characters... I can't actually read it, sorry  Sad ).

i've seen those japanese felting books too, i'm pondering buying one. i bought a felt mascots book that's in japanese and that was fairly easy to decipher, but a needle felting book might be a bit more complicated methinks Tongue i even saw a needle felted ring in one!

Enjoyed that visit.  Thanks teamwang.

Thought that instead of starting a new thread would add another site worthy of visiting here.  As many of you know,  hats are one of my passions so this is a felt hat site.

Those hats are so cute!
I can imagine your excitement when you came across lauri's site. I've never seen it before.

Have you seen feltfaction's work? http://www.feltfaction.fi/ENG/hats.php?page_num=1
They have some seriously crazy felt hats!

They blow my mind when it comes to the possibilities of wet felt. (not to mention I love their style!)  Cheesy

Wow! And I thought I went around in a rather unusual felt hat. Apparently there are people out there who take things a lot further. Amazing.

Oh Jane Doe, that site is amazing.  What amazing creativity and imagination and sheer guts to be sooooo flamboyant.  Thanks so much- doubt, I'll ever achieve that degree of cutting edge,  but find looking at such works tends to take me closer.  Shocked

Here is another site - Scandanavian perhaps - not sure which exactly- but this page has some wet felting and some needle felting.  http://www.finurliga-myran.com/tovning.htm

If you like laminate/nuno felt scarves give this site a look
http://www.mindesign.no/index.html

am finding lots of new felt site lately - these are really lovely scarves, it looks like hand sewn rolled hems, some hems have beads, and the wool-silk combination is fabulous.

Awesome slippers.  Now if my recollection is correct, you, Teamwang, took a slipper felting class today.  So are you going to make some of these fine ballet slippers?  Or have you already done them in class?
