i was about to post this as a new topic but i guess it belongs here ...

i made myself this skirt from an old duvet cover i found at the cancer research shop:

which i am very pleased with, but now i have more than half of the duvet cover left over, and i don't think i really need another brown florally item Smiley

so, the rest of the fabric is free to a good home!   it's a fairly lightweight, but kindof stiff, cotton - or possibly polycotton?  i donno really.   i'm not fussed about a swap (i have enough stash to work through already!!) but if you have anything you particularly want to offer then of course i will consider it ... mainly i'd just like to see it go to someone who might use it.

if you want to see some more pictures use these links:
here's a shot of the whole thing (it's one side of a double-bed-sized duvet cover):

and some detail on the less ... erm ... "busy" part of the pattern:

i'll happily post within the UK ... any takers?

well i already have a big stash of fabric waiting to be sewn up, so i really don't need a swap right now!

how about this ...  i just send it to you, and if one day you have a flash of inspiration for something to send back then that's cool, and if not then it's all just good karma anyway  Cheesy

if you PM me with your address i'll try to get it in the post before the weekend (work permitting)
