I had a brainwave last night , looking at my ever expanding hoard of craft goodies , I thought alot of this stuff will proberly just be sitting here for ages.

If anybody is interested I thought we could start a swapping of craft goods.

For example , we could write a list of "what we have" , and "what we would like". Maybe including finished articles too that could be swapped for craft supplies.

People could then check the lists and PM the person privately to arrange the swapping of stuff.

What do you reckon ?

Obviously it would be best to keep this to UK residents only due to postage and time people have to wait etc.

Lists could be easily edited as items are swapped , and new items could be added.

Do you mean where poeple can post and organise private one on one swaps?  That sounds good to me.

Cool, it'd be like the crafting supplies section in the classifieds, only people would look here.

That's a good idea. I like the Classified section of Craftster, but it's all US stuff so it's kinda useless if you don't want to pay tons of shipping...

First up, I've got about 2-3 metres of very nice black & white wool cloth (in one direction the fibers are white, in the other they're black so from afar it looks grey). I made a jacket out of it but I don't really need to make an entire matching outfit. The only thing is, you've ot to be in London because it's reeeally heavy and I can't really post it.

I'd like any sort of fabric you've got spare (hopefully 2 metres or more) in solid colours, as I've got my share of prints right now.

Anyone game?

Do you have a picture of the fabric ?

I have a purple bag I made that I am willing to swap , id like some refills for my "badge it" maker  .     I know a pack of 30 retails for 7.99. Basically you will get a bargain.

Fully lined and interfaced , inside pocket , appliques made of felt and a patch of polka dots , plus a few beads.   i think this would make a nice knitting bag as it dosnt have a closure but its very room , and stands alone.
