hi, I in the process of developing my online store. I'm in Australia, and I only want to accept payment in Aussie dollars, does anyone know what extra charges there are for people who use a different currency to covert to another currency?

I am wanting to get local and international customers, but I don't want extra fees to turn potential customers away.

Your customes don't carry the fees you do with paypal.  What I have found easiest to do in the past is witin Australia I prefer to accept Direct deposit, cheques (no product till its cleared),  and money orders this is noted on my site.  As this cuts most of the fees.  If they wish to use paypal I just note that it will cost an extra dollar (this doesn't cover all the fees but it helps) for items over $15.
Paypal has a list somewhere on their site about what fees will be payable for what amounts so you can factor that into your costings.
Good luck.
