This was my first IB Art project, and in a lucky coincidence it fits this challenge!

Without flash:

With flash:

Those are old CDs from my mom's office, and beer bottle caps saved up by my parents. I glued them onto a board canvas with hot glue, then painted the line with acrylic paint. It was planned around the materials- I had hundreds of bottlecaps and at least 50 CDs just sitting around, and they called to me.

Wow!  Very cool.  Is the board really heavy to hold the weight?  Love the painted line, too.

I love that linear pattern in red disecting the entire painting. <-- ohh I sounded a little to "artsy-critic-should be writing for the NYtimes" sorry---

but regardless, it's amazing-- did you free-hand the red lines?

I saved a bunch of my husband's beer bottle caps for a while, but inspiration never struck so I tossed them.  I should have sent them to you!  I like the paint, too--it seems vaguely Celtic to me.

I really like it, but I think there is a bit too much in the corners. Tongue Good job.
