For those of you into using old computer parts, radio parts, and other random geek junk in your DIY crafting, there's an MIT Flea market (aka swapfest) on the third sunday morning each month, from April through October.  While it's mostly aimed at geeks looking to collect even more computer junk, there's a dearth of old motherboards, (usually) a huge selection of dremel bits and assorted tools, and nifty little LEDs, lasers, and various cheap tech & scifi books and textbooks (some oldsk00l ones have neat pics for collaging) that could be incorporated into crafting.  if you're interested, the flyer with general info can be found at http://web.mit.edu/w1mx/www/swapfest/2004.pdf .

I got some awesome stuff at the one I went to in May. I'm most excited about this backpack/case I got that was made to house a nightvision goggles kit. It rules!
