Well, I've been lurking around here for awhile without putting up any of my work, but I'm finally going to post!  Here are a couple of altered postcards I did awhile ago:


I mailed this one to a friend without scanning it first, so part of the arm of the one to the right was lost in the mail.


I'm not sure I like the "airmail" sticker on there, but I suppose it didn't turn out too badly.

Well, I had some old greeting cards that I thought were kind of ugly except for the flowers around the edges.  So I tore off the fronts to make the card itself.  From there I painted them blue with watercolors and collaged on top, using magazine cutouts and other things--the fairy wings are tissue paper, that greenish paper on the right of the bottom one is part of a watercolor picture that didn't turn out very well, and the flowers on top of the dress are stickers.  After collaging them, I put a bit more blue watercolor paint on top, added a few finishing touches, and voila!  They are as you see them.   Smiley
